Max Yaney is a professional screenwriter who came onto the scene when the original screenplay SMOKE that he co-wrote went into major territories such as Lionsgate, Paramount, New Line, Warner Bros, Fox, and Sony; with Relativity Studios picking up the sale of the script.

He has written & developed projects with Josephson Entertainment, Relativity Studios, Cheyenne Enterprises, Brickell & Broadbridge International, Escape Artists (Sony Studios Lot), Proxima Media, Fortress Entertainment, TurtleBack Productions, Offspring Entertainment, High Water Productions, Aldamisa Entertainment, and Patriot Pictures.

Before his career as a screenwriter, Max Yaney was the production coordinator for Audience Network. He has worked on the television shows Sex and the City, Third Watch, and Married and several films such as McFarland USA, The Interview, and The Hero.
